Detox/Cleanse

Bryan and I successfully completed our newest adventure . . . our detox/cleanse. What an accomplishment - every meal for the last 3.5 days has been liquid. We gave our livers a break and our body a chance to clean itself of all the toxins and all that other crap we eat daily. I have to admit - it was not as bad as I thought.

After day one it got pretty easy; although I have to admit I was starving all the time. I gave my friends at work some major entertainment as they wanted to see what I brought into work to eat each day. "Yuck" was always their response. I was so amazed at how good I felt the entire week. I had so much energy, even running 2 miles at the gym was a piece of cake. Hmmm . . . is my body telling me something?

Tonight was our first "real" meal. We had veggie stir fry with tofu. Sure it might sound gross to some, but to us it was heaven . . . ahhh, food.

That's great! I knew you could do it - I have to admit that I'm surprised to hear you had all that energy...good to know. Perhaps I'll have to borrow your "diet" after I get back from San Diego in April. I could use a good detox :)
...although, I'm not sure I'd be able to stomach the veggie shake breakfast - yuck.
