Sharon is reading aloud "Lost and Found" to the kittens (as if they are listening). They are sitting on the couch with her . . . yes, listening intently. You probably don't know that this 32-paged childrens book was made into a short film and subsequently won "Best Animated Short Film Award" at the Cleveland International Film Festival this year.
Anyways . . . we're going to Chicago. Anyone who has been there (and even if you haven't, but still have something to say), please tell us your idea of the best sights and eats in the Windy City.
While I wait for your responses (we want them!) please enjoy this trailer for "Lost and Found".

The architectural boat tour. There's a number of them to choose from, and I can't remember which one we did, but of all the things I've done in Chicago, it was my favorite (granted, I haven't done many 'touristy' things in Chicago. Obviously you have to walk along Michigan Ave and that park... wtf is that park called? That's totally going to bother me know. But you know what you know what I'm talking about. The one with the bean.
All the places I've eaten in Chicago are little hole-in-the-wall places and diners and stuff, that I couldn't even tell you the name of if I wanted to (but they were all good). Oh, and every time I'm there I go to Potbelly - I know it's a chain, but there aren't any around here and not only are the sandwiches good but the cookies are To Die For.
I agree with moo, in that Michigan Avenue is where you need to be. Granted, if your anything like Beth, you will walk away from there broke. And Chicago has the best Pizza in the world. - Rick

Where are you staying? - Beth
Not sure where we're staying yet - have a list of hotels from which to choose, and simply haven't done it. Any suggestions? Thinking we'll do Priceline and see what luck we have.
On another note, you asked us when we went to Beijing - we went in 2008. You can find plenty of stories about that trip on this blog. :)
Thanks for reading!
