This past weekend it was feeling very festive . . . with it being Fall, and all-Halloweeny . . . all the nice weather. We were looking for something fun to do . . . just wanted to get out. So Sharon and I headed to Old Brooklyn to lay eyes on a local legend we learned about last year (yet missed). I've had it on my list for months. At 4807 Wichita in Cleveland (a short 30-minute stroll in the Murano) we found this cool sight.

| Here's some brat. The neighbor kid, who thinks its cool to climb out his 2nd-story window even though he's all of 3. And obviously makes a habit of it, judging by his comfortability with it, and the number of toys strewn about on the porch-roof; not to mention the "personal fan" he maintains. Also indicated by the parents who rest comfortably inside, letting the toys on the roof babysit their child. The girl knocking on the door was attempting to get the parents to do their parental duty. I call this kid "blanket"; named after Michael Jackson's kid whom he once dangled over a balcony. If this kid lives another year we'll call him, "lucky". Class act. |
Supposedly, this guy is keeping these up until November 15th this year. So scurry down and catch a glimpse for yourself. Bring a dollar, and put into his 'donation' bucket to help pay his lighting bill. FirstEnergy wants your money. Yeah - supposedly he lights them up at night - surely a sight to see. We are going to try to see them at nighttime before he takes them down. Here's where the guy lives:
