unnonalcoholic wine weekend

Friday (August 4th) Bryan and I met with Cheryl and Todd for a late lunch at Ferrante's Winery in Geneva. We had excellent weather and food. I can't wait to go back for dinner*. I've known Cheryl forever it seems--since freshman year in college. We haven't seen them since their wedding which was over 2 years ago as they live in hurricane alley [Florida]. We had a great time catching up, and wish we could have spent more time with them; nonetheless, we were so happy they could fit us into their short visit.

Afterward, Bryan and I headed to Vintage Ohio, the wine tasting festival at Lake Farmparks in Kirtland. We were already in the area so figured, "why not?". This is our 3rd time in attendance over the last 5 or so years. We got there early and were a bit surprised at how crowded it was. It seems like everytime we go it gets bigger and more crowded. We will probably skip it next year--it's becoming "too hip".

*hint-hint, Bryan.
