i liked her much better when she was more skimpy . . .

I should have done this some time ago . . . but have not made the time to do so.

I previously posted the government thumb of sign oppression, highlighting my escapade with Akron's Municipal Services department, and my thoughts about a nearby business' signage.

Much to my chagrin, the sign has changed. Did the owner see my post? Or was it truly that racy?

No matter, I suppose (though, I lusted for her more before she was changed).

Interestingly enough, one recent wintery day, we decided to pay the merchant of organic products a visit - just to find out what the place was all about. Upon entering, we found the space to be classically and tastefully decorated. There were inscriptions painted upon the wall, which appeared to be biblical in nature. The store owner was quite cordial, offering to show us around the store. We perused the merchandise and were quite pleased with the line of products she stocked. Oils and soaps for men and women, and even the occasional organic for dogs and cats.

I couldn't help myself but to ask the owner, "What prompted the change in your signage?" I think my wife was only slightly rattled that I was so nervy.

The owner responded that she was a born-again Christian, and had received only a handful of calls that the signage was inappropriate, and one who commented that she thought the store was a "strip club".

We left with a renewed respect for the store (although I would have preferred that she left the signage alone). :)
