Recent Business Trip

So . . . Sharon is endlessly telling me how her job tends to be boring; though, I've always envied many aspects of it.  One such aspect is the travel (which she claims is overrated).  I decided to put a few pics up, so that the rest of us can see how truly overrated her job is [what-evar!].  She most recently visited Portland, Oregon to do some cell-tower work; yes, boys and girls, retail ain't doing so well these days, so she has been temporarily relegated to telecom.

She will admit . . . doing cell-tower work isn't all that glamourous, but I think she once thought it was interesting (but I think she's bored with it now).  The picture above is a cell-tower she was doing work for.  Yeah . . . strangest cell-tower I've ever seen - weird as hell.  I have heard that these buildings sometimes double as watch-towers for people to use in spotting fires on distant mountain ranges. Notice the man-lift in the background . . .

Yep.  She got to go for a little ride. One of her colleagues related, "As you can see in the photo, Sharon is adapting to the Telecom field crew just fine."

But best yet .  .  . she got a great photo of Mt. Hood.
Who says work is boring?

LOL - don't let Sharon fool you...we all know she went for a few beers with the hard hat guys after their little joy ride. She has a super-cool job and she knows it.
