An eye full of holes

In June I had unexpected eye surgery. What started out to be a routine eye check up turned into a discovery of holes in my retina. The laser surgery was simple (except for the shot in my eye), but the recovery was worse than what I anticipated. Finally, my vision is back to normal. The laser hit my eye 2,009 times. Yikes! Unfortunately I will have to see a retina specialist for the rest of my life to prevent these holes - otherwise, I will go blind!
