Friday was Bryan's birthday. Bryan had to work from home that night so we had a low key night. I made Bryan's favorite - mac & cheese (and it was vegan). We liked it so much I think I will make it again today. Traditional cakes are boring - I got some goodies from Papa Joe's.
I got Bryan a few gifts. His main gift will be a new HTC phone. I don't buy electronics gadgets - so I leave that to him. For now, he got a desk calendar, consumer reports subscription, and a raw foods desert cookbook he's been wanting for a while.

Last night we went to Johnny's Downtown in Cleveland's Warehouse district. Although we are minimizing our meat consumption - we made an exception this night and had their signature dishes, made from veal. The dinner, service, and atmosphere were amazing!
