The Greater Akron Chamber is offering a nine-day tour of China, open to the public. The trip from April 13 through April 21 will include sightseeing at some of China's most famous landmarks, but will also include visits to China's centers of commerce. Participants will visit Beijing, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai.
Cost is $1,899 per person, based on double occupancy. Registration deadline is Dec. 2. The registration must include a nonrefundable deposit of $200.
A pre-trip orientation is scheduled for Nov. 3 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the downtown Akron-Summit County Public Library meeting room. Call Tony Rinella at 330-237-1250 or send an e-mail to rinella@greaterakronchamber.org
And no . . . I'm STILL not done posting all of the posts from our trip . . . but I haven't given up.
