china: let the games begin . . .

For any who have been paying attention, today marks 1 month and counting down to our departure to China. No . . . we're not going to see the Olympics (think about it - Olympics begin this Friday); rather, it's an adventurous romp which was delayed from last year. This trip is to make up for our missed/postponed trip to China last year - brought on by my job change. We chose to travel to China this time of year largely based on the weather. It appears that it will be very comfortable. We will be touring with Viking River Cruises, on their Imperial Jewels of China offering. It promises to be a blowout.

Check out the actual flightpath our plane will follow out of Toronto. If you were to lay this path over a globe, you'd see that it's nearly a straight-line flight. Interesting factoid.
