Sharon's Golfing Surprise

With all the blogging Bryan is doing lately I feel left out ...so I must add something.

Friday afternoon I attended my company's annual golf outing. I've been with my company for 4 years and this was the first year I attended. It's a long story why I ended up attending after not participating for the last 4 years- but it's not worth the story. Anyway-what a blast! My team came in first place out of about 35 teams- however our score didn't count as we created our own team. Needless to say, I didn't contribute much to my team except for the beer drinking. Did I mention the golf outing is a major drink fest? It was golf scramble and my team actually used one of my shots-guess I got lucky. This was my first experience playing 18 holes. OMG..why do people like this game???...you need patience and concentration-not me for sure! I am trying to learn to like golf, although I suck. (Bryan would be so proud).

Last year we purchased an old set of clubs from a friend of Bryan's aunt. They are old as hell and came with an ugly red bag. The night before the golf outing Bryan surprised me with a new bag, glove and driver socks! I was so surprised!!!!After Bryan gave me the new bag I realized I would have looked like a major dork with my old red one bag. Thanks sweetie!!!!

After the outing Bryan picked me up and we headed out to a China party celebrating the Olympic opening ceremonies. It may be boring to some...but not if you will be going to China in a few weeks!!!! The opening ceremonies rocked. Truely amazing. Bryan and I are so excited about our trip.
