New Theater in the Falls Slated to Open

Ordinarily, I'd plug an endeavor like this. But I'm so annoyed with these people, that I don't know if I can bring myself to do just that.

A new theater effort called 'none too fragile' is slated to open near us, headed by co-owner of the now defunct Bang-N-Clatter theater of Akron. These guys stiffed us on our season passes we bought about 2 years ago, and closed up operations in both Cleveland and Akron last year. I think that they had a tremendous following in Akron, and basically abandoned those followers for a potentially bigger market in Cleveland. That failed miserably because Akron seems to harbor more of a penchant for the arts. They did poor marketing research, and paid the price. I remember when we 'loved' the Bang-N-Clatter for their edgy, sometimes dark style of in-your-face theater.

I was hoping to never hear of them again.

Read more, and decide for yourselves.

Hell, decide for me, too. After giving them a piece of my mind at their Cleveland theatre (now, also closed) and not hearing any feedback from them, I'm not sure I'll ever attend.

The lyrics, "I used to love her (but I had to kill her)" come to mind.  Forgive my Guns 'N Roses reference.

I don't understand, we love the idea of bringing local arts to the area. - Rick and Beth
